Symptoms of Chickenpox -

                First of all mild fever is seen then starts body aches and pains all over the body. It can last for 3 to 5 days. Then a reddish-pink rash appears on the skin. The characteristic of rashes is that they look full of water, so it is called chickenpox.

              It first spreads to the neck and mouth and then spreads throughout the body. Most of the rash is small, develops two to four days after appearance, and starts itching all over the body. After five to six days the rash begin to dry out. The ones that came out earlier start to dry out and the scabs start to fall off. During this time the body temperature begins to return to normal. The level of infection is higher when the rash dries out. At this time patient should be more conscious about scabs as these are contagious.

Chickenpox treatment-

              The patient should be kept in a separate room with light and air. Vaccination must be done. The patient should take plenty of water. The patient should take adequate sleep and take an adequate amount of a healthy nutritious diet. When the rash is dry, the scab that falls on it should be carefully separated from the body and kept in a small glass bottle. Care must be taken not to spread these dry scabs around, as they are highly contagious. If there are seen any other complications then immediately go to the doctor and consult.
